GUESTROOM is an ethereal multidisciplinary installation created by Ella Taub, Amanda Donato, and Theresa Maria Forthaus. It is a seamless dialogue of multiscreen video projections, live performance and hanging sculptures where the audience is free to move through the space, fully immersed. GUESTROOM will mark the first collaborative project between the three artists.

The project actively displays the realities of aging women processing intergenerational trauma behind closed doors. This work makes for a strategic existence, where their internal world heavily contradicts the grace they present in public. The audience is invited as a guest to witness the private space of a woman. Each element of GUESTROOM emphasizes the endless layers and ambiguities of healing trauma.
