“The Ninth” is a photo series that scrutinises the transformation of the planet Earth in an era of the Anthropocene. It discovers a landscape of a fictious Ninth planet based on the characteristics of planet Earth and the traces we as humans leave on it.
How do we relate to our planet? What characteristics does a planet need to be the basis of human existence? How does a landscape look like in which there is a balanced relationship between civilised society and diverse nature?
